Changes to Employment Landscape

ILG have put together a guide detailing the potential changes to the employment landscape.

The key word re zero-hour contracts is ‘exploitative’.  Where they are working well for both parties, They are hopeful they will still have a valid and lawful place.  However, when contractual agreements limit workers’ access to the employment rights they would otherwise have – it is an issue that needs to be addressed.

Full employment rights from day one is also likely to have a big impact in our sector.

ILG will be continually assessing the likely impact of all the potential changes for individual employers and providing updates with guidance notes / webinars and offering DP specific training sessions over the coming months.
