The first ever summit focused on the role of a PA was held in Sheffield towards the end of last year.

The report on the event is below as are the findings of a survey.

This highlighted some interesting points:

• Most PAs say ‘Job satisfaction’ is important to them.
• The majority feel wages are too low and need increasing to attract more into the job.
• Most PAs in the survey have been in their current job over 4  years
