We Talk From Experience
Active Independence is a Disabled Person's User Led Organisation. This means our project is managed by Disabled people, for Disabled people. We truly understand the challenges you face because we've experienced them ourselves.
We have personal experience with various barriers, including:
- Social
- Environmental
- Political
- Financial
Our team knows the ins and outs of:
- Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
- Other Disability Welfare entitlements
- Personal Health Budgets
- Direct Payments
- Being an Individual Employer of PAs
- And other essential services like Housing, Information, Equipment, and Transport.
The Active Independence team has been there and we've "got the T-shirts." Our goal is to use our experience to support you on your journey.
