We run a programme of sessions open to Disabled People, PAs and Carers to help improve your mental wellbeing, make new friends and learn new skills.

Art of Wellbeing: Quilting and Knitting

Edward Dunn Memorial Hall, Maltby S66 7NQ

Fiona and Ellen (from Project Linus – Rotherham) will be providing pre-cut packs of different quilting designs and providing advice and support. You will get the opportunity to try new quilt designs which will then be donated to baby unit and Children wards at Rotherham hospital; Refuge centres and children centres.    If you don’t fancy sewing, you can bring your knitting and crochet needles and knit one. Help is on hand to teach your to knit. If you are making a quilt to be donated  we will provide the fabrics and other materials for quilts. (We meet specifying on 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month - do make quilts)

However we are now also running sessions on the remaining Tuesdays in the month - were you can come along and just do you own project and chat with other members.

Bring your own sewing machine along. If you don't one, we have 4 that have been donated you can try.

 

Art of Wellbeing: Crafts and Exercise Drop In

Sandlewood Close Communal Hall, Doncaster DN2 5DW

Drop-in session in Doncaster twice a month, on alternate Wednesday afternoons 1-4pm, for Disabled People and Carers. This will be an opportunity to meet and chat and join in with our activities.

Art of Wellbeing: Inclusive Cycling

Doncaster Cycling Hub - The Dome DN4 7PD

We have started our cycling sessions again. We meet every Friday 9:30 - 11:00. Join us for accessible cycling for Disabled People, Carers and PAs.

A Hub Instructor will on hand for anyone wanting advice on cycling and their accessible bikes. There is also a café on site to have a coffee and natter afterwards.
