Art of Wellbeing: Bringing People Together

Thanks to three years of funding from The National Lottery: Reaching Communities, we are delighted to continue our programme of FREE sessions designed for Disabled People, PAs, and Carers.

The Art of Wellbeing project aims to help you improve your mental wellbeing, learn new skills, and make new friends in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Our Weekly Sessions

Creative Threads (Maltby)

Join us for a relaxing and creative get-together. Whether you want to work on your own sewing and knitting projects or collaborate with others on something new, the choice is yours.

  • When: Every Tuesday, 11:00 am – 3:00 pm.

  • Where: Edward Dunn Memorial Centre, Maltby, S66 7NQ.

Inclusive Yoga (Armthorpe)

Part of our ‘Art of Balance’ series, these sessions focus on gentle movement and relaxation suitable for all abilities.

  • When: Every Thursday, 10:00 am – 11:00 am.

  • Where: Maple Grove Communal Centre, Armthorpe, DN3 2EQ.

Inclusive Cycling (Doncaster)

Get active and boost your physical and mental health at the cycling hub. We have a wide range of accessible bikes and a café for a post-cycle chat.

  • When: Every Friday, 9:30 am – 12:30 pm (Note: The last chance to get on the track is 12:00 pm).

  • Where: Doncaster Cycling Hub, Rear of Doncaster Dome, DN4 7PD.

    Please note: This session takes a winter break between December and February.

Our Fortnightly & Monthly Sessions

Art of Balance: Crafts (Edenthorpe)

A welcoming space to explore your creative side with various craft activities and friendly conversation.

  • When: Fortnightly on Wednesdays, 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm.

  • Where: Church Balk Gardens Hall, Edenthorpe, Doncaster, DN3 2NT.

Crafting Together: Recycling for Good (Rotherham)

Focusing on upcycling and sustainability, these sessions help the environment while fostering community spirit.

  • When: Every 1st, 3rd, and 5th Wednesday of the month, 12:30 pm – 3:30 pm.

  • Where: Brecks Community Hub, Rotherham, S65 3HU.

Trips & Social Events

Beyond our regular sessions, the Art of Wellbeing programme also includes:

  • Day Trips: Seasonal outings to local attractions and places of interest.

  • Annual Christmas Party: A festive celebration for all our participants, volunteers, and staff.
