Threads that Connect Us

Active Independence Art of Wellbeing Quitting Group will be working the Flux Rotherham to create a quilt to be exhibited at Rotherham Minister or Riverside Gallery as part of their Threads that Connect Us project.

We are really lucky that Amanda Daley, a Rotherham artists and quilter, will be joining us at the workshops to help give support and inspiration to help us create a beautiful quilt that shares our stories and experiences of the pandemic.

You can join the project in two ways.
1. Come along and join us at the workshops and make your square (s) during the sessions
2. If you can’t make it – you can still contribute by making a your own square at home and sending it to us and it will be included in our quilt.
If you don’t have materials at home I can request a kit for you from the project.

If you are interested in joining us or want more information, please contact me on fiona.m@activeindependence.org or contact me on number on the poster.
