About the Role

We are looking for a caring, reliable and patient Personal Assistant (PA) to support a friendly autistic teenage boy. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by helping him build confidence, independence and enjoy activities in the community.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide one-to-one support at home and in the community

2. Encourage participation in activities and hobbies

3.Support with developing independence and life skills

4. Ensure safety and wellbeing at all times

5. Accompany to outings such as walks, leisure activities or social opportunities

6. Work collaboratively with family to provide consistent support

About the Young Person

A friendly and active teenager who enjoys reading, jigsaws & swimming. He benefits from a calm, structured approach and encouragement to try new activities.

About You

Kind, patient and understanding
Reliable and adaptable
Experience with autism or additional needs (preferred but not essential)
Good communication skills
Ability to build a positive, trusting relationship
Driver with access to a car
Willing to undergo a DBS check
