I am an experienced employee in the care sector, looking for employment in order to offer any help and support required to enable an individual to continue living an independent life at home.
I am a friendly, fun, approachable individual, exceptionally professional with strong work ethic, trust worthy and compassionate. I have exceptional listening and communication skills. I am calm patient and think logically, i am capable of working with minimal or no supervision, i am self motivated, timely and acutely aware of others needs, i treat myself how I'd expect myself or my family to be treated.

I have worked in care for numerous years, caring for a family member on a daily basis, most recently private care and home care.
Private care was for an elderly lady 35+ hours a week, sometimes overnight care, my client suffered with alzheimer's, this gave me a huge insite into elderly with memory impairments, and how each day could be different.
Often challenging and having to think quickly, and using every distraction technique there was and more, equally how to laugh and make light of a situation.

Working for a homecare company gave me a further insite into elderly care and a huge variant of physical, emotional, cognitive and medical needs.
A different experience, enjoyable and enlightening, but i have decided to return to private care to enable me to focus on one individual without time constraint.
