What i have found out in the care industry is you need to be very patient with people, make time for them and always listen to them, you have to earn their trust before you can really help them.

I have been retired for one year, I worked for Age/UK for 8 years, The Beeches residential home for 2 years, Hamilton Lodge working with young Adults with learning disabilities. all the above training will be out of date and would need a refresher course, I have had a year of retirement I now need to be involved in something a few days a week.
