I have worked with both children and adults as 1:1 PA and by supporting community groups such as Coffee mornings and playgroups.
I have 18 years experience working with Learning Disabilities (for example: Autism, Down Syndrome) and Epilepsy.
I have 10 years experience working with Physical Disabilities (for example: CP, Stroke, Spinal injuries)
I worked for 2 years as an Occupational Therapist prior to becoming a parent and moving to South Yorkshire.
I have previously worked as a Care Assistant, through agencies, in Peoples homes and in Residential Care at £7-8 ph.
I have previously been a PA, privately employed, at £10 ph and still visit/support a client in London when visiting my family.
I can work Monday - Friday from 12pm - 10pm (negotiable)
I can do occasional night shifts (on arrangement)
I can do occasional weekends (on arrangement)
I drive my own car and am willing to use this for work.
I am willing to do basic cleaning, shopping, community support, medication and personal care (any other tasks negotiable)
My hobbies include swimming, arts and crafts, movies and reading personal development books. I am happy to incorporate these activities into PA role if required.
I am fine with animals, I have 2 dogs of my own.
