Skills for Care have produced a really useful briefing paper which summarises the 3 key governement changes which will affect social care:
- ‘Caring for our future’ – white paper
- Draft care and Support bill
- Caring for our Future funding report
All these will have a direct impact on those of us who need support to lead independent lives so it is worth reading this and being aware of proposed changes
