We are looking for a PA to support male with complex care needs; personal care and challenging behaviour – non-verbal communication.
You would be covering the following hours:
9 AM – 5 PM every day on a shift pattern basis +2 waking night's available - These are the primary hours but sometimes may need to change due to hospital appointments or if a split shift is required.
The role involves personal care, giving medication, keeping the home & surrounding's clean and tidy (dusting, hoovering, washing and ironing etc) collecting prescriptions, shopping and to accompany on outings out. Also includes support to attend a Day Centre in Doncaster.
You will be required to drive a mobility adapted van that holds a wheelchair with a licence with less than 3 points for insurance purposes.
Training must include using a hoist. Epilepsy training would be an advantage. We can arrange this training if needed.
No smokers and have allergy to pet fur.
