Active Independence will be starting their next series of Free Art of Wellbeing classes in Rotherham and Doncaster aimed at improving the wellbeing of Disabled people in the area.
In Rotherham, we will be running two monthly classes every Wednesday, until March 2020 at Eastwood Village Community Centre, Erskine Rd, Rotherham S65 1RF. Each session will start at 1 until 3pm
The next two classes (Wednesday 29th January and 12th February) will be an introduction to Decoupage.
In Doncaster, we will be running one monthly session, the last Monday of the month at Quaker House,Oxford Place, off St James Street, Doncaster, DN1 3RH. The session will start at 1 until 3pm.
The next two classes will be Monday 27th January and 24th February.
We will be using different papers and tissues to create decoupage projects. We will have bottles, wooden boxes, patterned papers, glue and paints you can get creative with. Or you can bring your own items you wish to brighten up using decoupage.
You are welcome to come along and join this relaxed and friendly group. You can either join in with the activity we are running during that session; just have a drink and a natter or try out the games available. The choice is yours.
All delivered in an accessible venue by experienced facilitators specialised in supporting disabled people. We look forward to meeting you. For more information contact us
