After loads of hard work by a few volunteers from our Stop People Dying Too Young Group, we now have an Easy Read letter online speaking up about our concerns about how Do Not Resuscitate was used during Covid.

The letter is to the group of government ministers that have been set up to look at the recommendations from the CQC report. The report showed that some groups of people had been discriminated against with Do Not Resuscitate decisions during Covid.

Those groups were

• People with a learning disability
• Older people
• People with dementia
• People from Black, Asian and minority ethnic communities
