Christmas Activities to look out for …

Community Christmas Spirit

Rotherham Park Facebook Live on 11th December at 4pm and watch again.

Join the Green Spaces Rangers as they show you how to create a natural Christmas tree decoration, that is safe for the wildlife.

Letters for Father Christmas

A Special mailbox has been dropped at the Maker’s Emporium by Father Christmas’s elves, on the High Street, Town Centre. Pop in and drop off your letter to Father Christmas, are you on the naughty or nice list?

You can also pick up a Christmas trail sheet that will take you around the Town centre to enjoy the Christmas lights.

Online Festive Performances

Throughout December, Lost Chord are releasing a series of free Christmas concerts from our talented Lost Chord musicians. Share their music with the people you care for who have dementia hopefully bringing back happy memories of Christmas gone by, and raise the spirits this winter.

Recycle your Christmas tree

Bluebell Wood will help you dispose of your real Christmas tree!

For a suggested donation of £10 per household tree, they will come and collect your tree and recycle it in an environmentally friendly way. They will chip the trees and turn the chippings into compost – some of this will be used to grow new Christmas trees, while some of it will be used at the hospice.
