I would love to apply to become a trustee for you! I have lived with a chronic illness/disability for 7 years, and have dealt with various difficulties with this including: being dismissed by medical professionals, navigating school/university with an ‘invisible’ disability and finding suitable work within a placement setting. I’m very passionate about disability rights, including general awareness of disabilities and equal employment opportunities.
I am currently studying a marketing communication and advertising degree at Sheffield Hallam University, in which I am currently in my 3rd year on placement at a local business who is also passionate about disability rights. I have experience volunteering in the charity sector in events, fundraising and marketing.
I would love to be considered for a role on your board of trustees. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me.
