I worked in a care home for 2 years. I was trained in manual handling and use with slings and hoists. Last worked in care two years ago so some light shadowing would help refresh me on hoists and slings.
I have cared for my mother at home for 6 months with a tracheostemy and cared for her open wound on her stomach with wound manager bags and now 2 years later were onto just simple dressings daily.
My nephew has aspergeres so I have a very good understanding of this condition.
I'm very easy going and easy to get along with. Happy to learn anything new.
In my last 18 months of employment I've had two days off sick in Dec 2017 for d&v.
I have an 8yr old boy who I can drop at school for 8 am daily and would be available to work until 5/6pm occasional weekend work to cover holidays would not be a problem to me.
